It may take a trained person, though, to make sure that the program is set up properly and that the air flow is working properly.

It’s always a good idea to leave the settings alone if you’re not using it, even if you’re only staying home for a few days. Of course, if someone else is coming into the house, it’s better to turn the air conditioner on than to risk leaving it on while you’re gone. It’s better to make sure it’s set to cool before you go home than to risk having to come back out and fix it while you’re gone.
