Taking down the Jezebel spirit
To be free from the Jezebel spirit we must renounce her and remove her from the throne in our hearts. Queen Jezebel ruled Israel and caused the nation to sin against God the Father. This spirit considers herself a queen and sits very high and high in the spirit realm. She is full of pride and has to be brought down with the power of God in Jesus’ Name.
Spiritual warfare against the Jezebel spirit, as well as any other demonic force, must be conducted in the spirit realm where the spirit rules. We are not at war with people or people who have this spirit. We fight against the spirit itself, never against the person. Ephesians 6:12 says, “Our fight is not with the people. It is against the leaders and the powers and the spirits of darkness in this world. It is against the world of demons that works in the heavens.”
Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Whenever you wage war, ask God to give you discretion, discernment, wisdom, and most of all, love. You never want to embarrass anyone or make them feel bad. Your desire should always be to help free the captives from the schemes of Satan.
You will be able to help some people and not others. I had a Jezebel spirit woman in a senior leadership position who told me she would not go out because she did not want to. Some people love power and control so much that they will never regret it. Even God said He gave her time to repent, but she never did.
Never feel that you have failed or that you have failed God if deliverance does not take place. We are all given free will in life and it is always up to the individual to receive their own liberation. Pray the following prayer of war against the Jezebel spirit, whether it resides in your family, your workplace, your church, or even if it is ruling in you. Cast out Jezebel today and start walking in freedom and victory!
War prayer against the Jezebel spirit
Jezebel, we oppose you in the name of Jesus. We bind the ruling spirit of Jezebel in the heavenly places. It is written in the Word of God that everything that I bind on earth will be bound in heaven and everything that I loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. I bind Jezebel with chains from heaven and release God’s warrior angels to fight for us.
Father, we ask you to send your warrior angels from heaven to help us drive out this horrible demon spirit. Jezebel, we command you to sit in the dust and be common. There is no throne for you, Jezebel. You are not a queen. You are vulgar and a liar. You are not a virgin, you are a whore. You are not tender or delicate; you’re an ugly wrinkled old hag. We remove and destroy all false idols and all sacrifices. There will be no sacrifices! We order you to take the millstone and grind the flour. Take off your veil, uncover your locks, lift your skirt, uncover your thigh and cross the rivers. We expose your nakedness and expose your shame to the world!
We come in the name of the Lord of Israel, the Lord of hosts. We dry up its seas, we cause drought in its seas, rivers and springs. There’s no water; It’s dry. We break down your doors. The Lord promises his children that he will go before us so that the doors do not close. He will break the bronze gates and cut the iron bars. We tear down your pillars and tear down all your walls. No stone will rest on another. Flee to the island of Chittim, you will not find rest because you are defeated in the name of Jesus! There is no force in the seas. Your merchants cry for you because your city is destroyed. The smoke rises to the sky, as in Sodom and Gomorrah. You are defeated and your youth are destroyed. You’ll be a widow in an hour. You will suffer the loss of children. The Lord says He will throw you on a bed and burn you with fire. I shed the blood of Jesus on you because it cleanses, purifies and frees the captives.
