When students rent their accommodation, they enter into a legally binding contract. Most of the time this is a tenancy agreement and, like any other tenancy agreement, it must be ended properly when they move out. The room or flat (as notified to the Tenant prior to moving in and hereinafter referred to as “Accommodation”) is let to the Tenant for a fixed period of time – normally an academic year.
