In mediumistic circles the phenomenon called transfiguration is where the face of the Spirit is seen in the face of another person. Usually this happens to a person who is known to be a Spirit Medium. Take a group of people, seat them in the dark and ask them to stare at a Spiritual Medium trained in this form of spiritual communication. For the transfiguration to take place, everyone present must bear witness to this strange and spiritually demanding phenomenon. I would imagine that in the Spirit World, we are talking about the earth plane here, it is considered to have a serious connection with Spirit and is draining for both souls.
So what exactly does it look like? The faces of those loved ones do not always cross, no, it can be any spirit of passage that wishes to be seen. A kind of step to say hello. I don’t always just call to tell you I love you. Apparently, from the point of view of the Spiritual Medium undergoing such a transfiguration, then it is not uncommon for them to experience sensations on their face. These sensations could have to do with feeling the shape or feature of some person placed on your face, the sensation of facial hair on the skin as in the appearance of a beard, if the materializing spirit had a beard in your life.
Before the transfiguration takes place, the Spiritual Medium usually enters a trance state. An altered state of consciousness to allow for an easier transfiguration of the Spirit. Successful transfiguration is said to take place in the dark because in many cases a glutinous substance known as ectoplasm, sensitive to light, is said to appear and take shape into the characteristics of the Spirit attempting to communicate. This ectoplasm can be no more than a misty veil that appears on or just in front of the Spiritual Medium’s face.
The materialized image may appear translucent or the Medium’s face may disappear entirely, replaced by the features of the Spirit. It is not only the face that can be affected by the transfiguration, other parts of the body can be affected. The body can change shape, size and sex. Also more than one face may appear in quick succession.
The important thing to keep in mind is that everyone in the group witnessing this activity must see the transfiguration at the same time for it to be called as such. However, if only one or two see it and no other person present can, then it is more likely to be known as clairvoyant transfiguration. In this case, people who tend to be clairvoyant can only see the transfiguration. Clairvoyance: indicates the art of seeing beyond the five senses.
