CCTV Systems Sydney

The city of Sydney in Australia is known for its foolproof security measures achieved by installing a network of CCTV security surveillance cameras at all key points in the city.

Sydney surveillance camera systems are installed in different parts of the city. It acts as an effective step for the detection of crimes and other illegal activities that take place in these areas. Nearly fifty cameras are installed in prime locations across the city including China Town, Circular Quay, Cook and Philip Park, Bellmore Park, George Street Cinemas, and throughout the city’s major shopping areas. This CCTV surveillance that is placed at these key high-traffic locations will be monitored by City Hall security personnel 24 hours a day.

Currently, Mount Street Plaza North Sydney has two CCTV security cameras to ensure the safety of the city. These cameras are also under constant surveillance by security agents. Twenty-four CCTV security surveillance cameras were also installed by Sydney Fair Field Council in Cabramatta and Canley under continuous observation by city security staff.

Apart from this, the city’s railway security staff will also be monitoring the railway’s CCTV surveillance camera network during the day and night. This network of railway security CCTV surveillance cameras consists of 6,224 security cameras distributed in 306 train stations in the city.

The city’s newly built passenger cars now come with an integrated passenger information system that includes CCTV, digital voice announcements, and passenger and crew communications. These new generation Sydney City train carriages now come with specially designed fiber optic Ethernet train lines for CCTV recording and on-train communication systems.

The 15-inch screen installed in the train driver’s cabin allows the train conductor or guard to view the CCTV images and control the DVA systems of the CCTV surveillance cameras. All six cameras on a cart can be managed by a single HDD Caddy with the help of a traffic camera or TC 100.

These 2 CIF resolution CCTV cameras installed in the Disney Town Cars are capable of capturing at a rate of 6.25 frames per second per camera. The storage media of these CCTV surveillance cameras work in an overwrite mode that allows new video recordings to overwrite older files. Typically, these cameras provide a minimum of 168 hours of data storage.
