Comparison of trade show display types

popup screens

Pop-up displays are the most popular trade show displays due to their light weight, small size when packed, and ease of setup. There are literally dozens of brands on the market today. Some are more durable and therefore more expensive than others. We sell several different models: from the most durable, most expensive, to the least expensive, most economical.

Standard Rating Popup – includes lighter aluminum frame, individual channel bars, Velcro fabric panels (Frontrunner or Prelude), and thermoformed shipping box with wheels. Other options available – various sizes available.

Commercial grade pop up – includes a heavy frame with nylon connectors, collapsible steel channel bars, Velcro panels (Frontrunner or Prelude), and a choice of 1 or 2 thermoformed shipping boxes with wheels. Other options available – various sizes available.

Photo wall rating popup – A standard grade pop up window with the substitution of wall mural panels in place of the velcro fabric panels and includes everything in the standard grade pop up window. We use only durst lambda photographic film production techniques combined with the HDL lifetime lamination guarantee.

Fabric Mural Grade Pop Up Window – A non-curved heavy pop-up frame with a replaceable fabric graphic wall. The fabric mural is pre-attached to the frame, making installation easy. This screen offers a full wall effect without a cumbersome setup procedure. Ships in included lightweight nylon bag, hard shipping case and lights available.

pop up wall frame – This is not a true pop up as it includes an easy to erect rectangular post frame. The large format graphic simply has Velcro along the edges, allowing for easy setup. It is the most economical way to achieve a full 10′ wall mural effect.

panel screens

Panel displays represent the oldest type of display. We sell two types, folding and modular. They consist of fabric-covered or laminated high-density corrugated panels, joined together by a hinge or inter-panel extrusion. Vertical pins allow panels to be stacked in groups on top of each other.

Folding panel screens – This economical folding panel system, although not as easy to transport as a pop-up screen, allows for greater load capacity. Built-in counter assemblies and backlit headers make this type of display more usable. Multiple colors on both sides, as well as accent colors, make this a beautiful display option. Details
Modular Panel Displays – This more expensive panel system allows for the use of laminates, backlights, light boxes, and much more complex shapes including curves, curved laminates, plexiglass windows, product niches, etc. Although it is the most expensive option and the most difficult to transport, it represents the most sophisticated type of display. Our modular systems remain UPS transportable and are by far the easiest to configure.

banner displays

Bannerstands are an inexpensive means of displaying large-format graphics in an “easy to transport” medium. There are two types of banner stands: roll-up (manual setup) and retractable (automatic setup). The roll-up stand consists of a base, a pole, and a graphic that the user assembles before displaying. The retractable banner stand has a spring loaded cassette that sits on the floor and is assembled by pulling the graphic vertically out of the cassette and attaching to the pole.

roll up stand – Economic graphic system and easy to transport. Simply unroll the graphic, attach the base and post to the aluminum extrusions at the top and bottom of the graphic, and you’re ready to display.

retractable banner – Slightly more expensive but just as easy to transport, this system protects the graphic inside an aluminum base. Simply pull the spring-loaded graphic to the desired height and attach to the post.
