Feng Shui Tips for Professional and Business Success

Very few people achieve great success in a career or business without a little bit of luck! Or is it luck? What is that additional ingredient that despite all the hard work in the world will not give you success in a professional trip or business venture?

Feng Shui is aware that it is more than luck that does not leave the fortunes of life to chance. The Ancient Masters of Feng Shui developed patterns to control and attract success in many areas of life. This knowledge is available today and it is easy to apply and it is better than waiting for luck, in fact, it has incredible dynamics to attract luck.

I have interviewed several successful entrepreneurs and those who have had successful careers and the universal comments are: hard work, networking, two years at least to build,
and finally you must have a little luck.

So let’s take a look at the concept of luck, the one ingredient that is absolutely not under your control. With Feng Shui, luck or good fortune is attracted by arranging the interior design of your home to allow the universal energy of ‘Chi’ to flow freely and harmoniously. There are several factors that come into play here.

In your bedroom, do the foot of the bed face the door? Did you know that this is called the “coffin position”? So change the position of your bed so that it ideally has a wall on one side and a good welcome light from a window on the other and not pointing towards the door. When you create this positioning, you are creating a flow of ‘Sheng Chi’ energy in your life. This is positive chi energy and aspects of your career will be uplifted.

Your work desk is important as it is a symbol of work and careers. Make sure you don’t have your back to sharp edges as this creates negative effects for you. If you can’t change the location, neutralize the area with plants or glass behind you while you work at the desk. Ideally, your job post should be south of the Ba Gua map to get the best flow of energy for a successful run.

Removing clutter from a work space or even any living room is very important to career prospects. Clutter consists of loose papers, scattered books and documents, and a generally messy work environment. Many of us say “I know where everything is”, but in the knowledge of Feng Shui you are diminishing career opportunities while living with clutter.

When it comes to clutter, the front door is a vital area to stop or attract opportunities. The front door to the house is the entrance of the house, it is the entry point for all things good or bad and it is important to take care of this entrance by keeping the entrance area clean, open and full of light. If you have a small, dark entrance hall, you can expand the chi of the area by placing a small oval mirror at the end of the hall and looking directly at the entrance door.

Do you have in mind the image of the job or career you want? Find a picture of that job or symbols that represent that job or career and hang the item prominently in the living room or office. This will attract what you want and keep your intention focused.

When the opportunity comes, and it will, then at that point in the interview, make sure you’re sitting at an angle so you can see the doorway when you do this, you give yourself control of the office space.

Water is known as the element of the race, in fact, Shui. You will add to your professional fortune when you have running water in the home. A small fountain is ideal. You can calculate the running zone in the house by referring to a map of Ba Gua, which will give you the position of North, and then you can place a fountain in the most advantageous position. However, make sure not to put any wooden or earthen items in this area.

Finally, your mindset is of great importance. Your mind with the right intentions and focused on the career you want will be bigger than your own energy. It will attract ‘chi’ energy just like a house in the right order attracts chi. So don’t dwell on your feelings that can deceive you by listening to that negative voice telling you about failure, just fix your mind on a positive outcome and keep it there through thick and thin and you will be wonderfully surprised by the outcome.
