Fleeing from Religion – Finding Clairgnosis

Being immersed in the Internet dating scene of late… I have the opportunity to explore the position of people my age towards religion. There are many like me who were raised in devout Catholic homes… but choose to no longer practice that faith. Then there are others… you know… the non-Catholics… the abandoned group that the nuns and the priest of the Catholic Church told us would “never see heaven”. This group seems a bit more apt to remain minimally involved with the organized religion of their upbringing…some even cling tightly to the New or Old Testament of the Bible…following its word-for-word guidance…their “kind of crutch”. “to weather the ups and downs of today’s world and our complicated lives.

Now I, just as desperately as I have wanted to belong to an organized faith…if nothing more than for the social aspect…but especially for the singing! I love singing in church… and it’s the only thing I regret losing by giving up my Catholic faith. Why, I was a “high soprano” and could hit the highest notes during Christmas Eve Mass! My consternation with the Catholic Church began in the first grade of the Parochial School. While being taught catechism… statements of faith that were memorized and repeated to the nuns… I went outside and said to my classmate… “How do we know if we believe in God or not… they only have six years and they say it because the nuns want us to do it. Yes…that was the start of my painful years as a Catholic child unwilling to believe what was trying to be programmed into my head…and the first of many calls to my parents…accompanied by periods of downtime in the corner!

When I entered Parochial High School… my mind rebelled even more against the theology and practices of the Catholic religion. Again, he was sincerely chided for not being willing to partake in a face-to-face confession of my sins as a cleansing ritual at a weekend retreat. As usual, the ever-increasing voices in my head flatly refused to accept the concept that only “priests” could communicate with God… and that we were all in a constant state of sin from birth that never seemed to be. . totally erased. The fact that these beliefs were taught with such arrogance and meanness… made the voices in my head say “play the game for as long as you need… then run away and never come back.”

When parenthood came to my late twenties… the voices again! One set would say… “If you don’t baptize your child… he may die and never see heaven.” My other set of voices was saying… “How can a baby be born with sin”… and the other voice was saying, “The God I believe in wouldn’t mind a silly ritual.” Well… I gave in… made my “proper contribution” to the local parish… and baptized my children. I even went so far as to send them to the Parish Sunday School to learn how to pray, etc. He knew that each person needed to believe that there was indeed a God… and that one could talk to Him through prayer.

Years passed and I began to long to be a part of something… a church… an organization… maybe even a Wiccan community. Something that would make me feel that “connection with the Higher Power”… that had always alluded to me. During this 25 year period… I read book after book looking for a philosophy, practice or group that could finally give me that warm fuzzy feeling that God loved me and I could really feel it!

Success finally came after meeting a person named Sherry Healy. Sherry worked with me to develop my intuition and strengthen my connection to God…Infinite Spirit…Higher Power. She also coined a name for people like her and me… Clairgnostic. I finally found a spiritual home! Now I could define my relationship with God. I was a Clairgnostic…one who comes to believe in God because he has experienced it.

Wondering what the heck is a clairgnostic… and is it the same as an agnostic? The following should clear things up:

Cairgnostic is one who has experienced the state of Clairgnosis. The origins’ of the word come from the root words clairvoyant Y gnostic.

Clairgnosis it is the condition of “Enlightenment” performed from intuitive modalities. The term, coined in 1999 by Sherry Healy, also known as Shealy, is now often used in the fields of energy medicine, psychoenergetic healing, and other insightful modalities of intuitive and spiritual enlightenment. Clairgnosis is a clear knowledge of God, Spirit, or Higher Power through intuitive experience. In simple terms, Clairgnosis is believing in God, Spirit, or Higher Power because one has i experienced it intuitively rather than because one has been taught or conditioned to believe.

HAS Clairgnostics The state can be achieved through any means by which a person experiences the God Force firsthand. This could be as simple as a visit from an angel, witnessing a miraculous event, or having a near-death experience. I, on the other hand, became clairgnostic by practicing a form of vibration-enhanced energy medicine created by my mentor, Shealy. Shealy’s Consciousness Exploration Self-Transformation System of combining breathing, sequential movements, meditation and tonal vibrations has been shown to give participants the experience of Clairgnosis aligning the energy of the conscious mind with the energy of the conscious body has ultimately been given the name Kina Nima(TM). Kina Nima(TM) is derived from Latin roots and represents the movement of soul energy through the body.

And the voices in my head…they’re quite liking this new philosophy I’ve subscribed to! Not only that, but I feel the most amazing connection to God…as if he is with me at all times…and guides me as I navigate the rest of this life!

One last thing, being a Clairgnostic has led to some very interesting discussions meeting potential mates from the internet… and personally it has brought me better health, remarkable “outer beauty” and a great deal of potential. But most important of all, I have filled that void with unconditional love through Clarignosis… and so I pursue my dating ritual as a newfound “whole person”!
