Government car auctions offer valuable land

When looking for a used or new car, most people head to dealer after dealer to haggle with a car salesman and sometimes even be pressured into buying. They might walk away thinking they got a great deal, but the truth is, there are much, much better deals out there; specifically at government auto auctions. Cheap used cars abound at these auctions. Most auctions have all kinds of makes and models along with deep discounts.

You can find anything from minivans to luxury sedans. Some may have minor damage or the paint may be a little scratched, but the cost of repairing those minor visual annoyances pales in comparison to the difference in price of the vehicle. Just think that the money you’d save compared to buying from a dealership will allow you to fix those petty dings and dings, and maybe even add a couple of extras like a nice set of tires or a new stereo system! Many people worry about where these cars have been or if they were used in a crime. It could be anything from back taxes to medication, and that’s something that isn’t usually revealed to the consumer without a bit of effort. So get there early and see if you can do some research before you bid.

There are all kinds of reasons why the government has impounded a person’s car, but regardless of why, the government wants to liquidate it as quickly as possible. This equates to incredible deals for the educated consumer. You may find some cars with minor damage, but overall I think you’ll be amazed at the auction car’s pristine condition. Many bidders have walked away with cars for less than ten percent of their “book” value! Whether you’re in the business of buying and reselling cars from auto auctions or just looking for a new family car, the days of dealer shopping are a thing of the past. Dealer prices and quality don’t stand a chance against a well-organized government auction.
