Inspiration from Federer or Eclipse

The air bends with twist from the center of the court. The lines define why a crowd surrounds a game. Immersed in the media, millions of people watch a speedy statue place the stone on strings. Federer challenged the punters by winning his 17th slam and tying Pete Sampras’ record of seven Wimbledon champions. Ironically, the ‘Federer Express’ makes Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray look like rising stars overshadowed by Roger’s shooting star.

What possibly motivates the greatest tennis player of all time to continue fighting for slams and to maintain the position of number one tennis player? Why do so many lose the drive for dominance, while a wife watches her husband and the twins see their father on the right side of the wrong probabilities? Perhaps Federer and Archimedes’ abilities like Penn’s innovations in angles, physics, tennis tactics and precision bring a sense of destiny; as if communicated by his own talent to finish the true story. Yet what does Federer’s success mean to the rest of us?

Perhaps celebrities are popular, because we imagine that their achievements are ours. Suddenly many of us find out after months, sometimes years. So long sitting on the couch with a thin-screen TV and not enough passion and effort to fulfill one’s dreams. There has to be a stage where you look at your life and take an inventory of it. Then imagine what you want out of life.

If Federer is cool to himself, is he really cool? Ordinary or struggling people need to see Roger as inspiration to achieve personal excellence. Otherwise Federer is just an elite who overshadows everyday dreams. Intangible energy with an emotional mood enhancing nature occurs when you pride yourself on personal excellence. Happiness is for everyone; as long as life allows. Make sure that looking back at your life reflects your own first-hand experiences, rather than someone else’s. Sometimes people measure their lives by what they will never own.

Strive to achieve your goals and know that there are millions of people like me who support you and appreciate the best personal achievements. The true excellence, in my opinion, of Roger Federer is in inspiring people to achieve their best. Keep striving for what you can as a goal for yourself. Federer should be a bridge to his own achievements; let their dreams be theirs and own yours. Stay positive and most of all stay strong.
