Professional Numerology – Numerology: The Complete Guide By Matthew Oliver Goodwin Volumes 1 & 2

I recommend these books, if you have ever wanted to learn numerology to do a complete personality profile, match relationships, analyze the future and much more. They are very deep and go beyond the basics of numerology. You will learn how the main numbers work together as a unit, producing a personality that combines the energies of the numbers. The personality of the person being read begins to come to life, showing you all its positive and negative aspects.

These books are available at your local bookstore. If you really want to take your numerology readings to the next level, buy Volume 1 and Volume 2. Volume 1 does a very good job of covering the basics of a personality reading. Volume 2 delves into advanced personality analysis and reading the past, present, and future.

In the first section, Volume 1 begins by covering the basics of numerology. In the second section of Volume 1, you will learn about the four elements of the core personality: life path, expression, soul urge, and birthday. The author shows you how to delineate the character of the core elements: The harmony and discord that occurs between the different elements of the core. In the third section, he covers character delineation using modifiers, karmic debts, etc. He is shown how these different pieces of the puzzle come together to produce a profile of the person that is read.

In these books, Matthew Goodwin explains how the different pieces of the puzzle fit together with many examples of different birth dates and names. This gives you a very clear description of what these combinations of numbers produce in a person’s chart. He also shows how names are important in the makeup of personality: what things you should consider when choosing a name for a boy. You are fixing the child’s expression to the world. Choose a name after careful analysis.

Volume 1 has reference tables in the back of the book that provide a detailed explanation of the use of each number. You will find that these reference tables make searching for meanings very easy when doing a numerology reading. The reference tables cover the following topics:

  • Numbers – basic concepts
  • The road of life
  • The expression
  • the impulse of the soul
  • The birthday
  • The aspects
  • karmic debt
  • The intensity table
  • The Challenge/Growth Number
  • expiration number
  • the first letter
  • the first vowel

Volume 2 also has reference tables in the back of the book that provide a detailed explanation of the use of each number. You will find that these reference tables make searching for meanings very easy when doing a numerology reading. The reference tables cover the following topics:

  • The Numbers – advanced symbolism
  • The periods of the path of life
  • the pinnacles
  • The Personal/Universal Year
  • The essence
  • The Transits
  • The Personal Month / Personal Day
  • the epicycle

The reference tables in the back of the books make learning numerology much easier. For example, if you are looking at the Aspects reference chart in Volume 1, you can easily compare the Life Path, Expression, Soul Urge, and Birthday numbers to see which combinations are harmonious with each other. If many of the core elements conflict with each other, the personality has many challenges ahead of it to be productive. When all the numbers work in a common direction, the personality flows easily, making life productive and inspiring.

You will find that building the charts as he shows them in the books can take a long time. Eventually, you’ll probably decide to purchase a numerology program that makes it easy to chart by simply entering the person’s date of birth and full name. Not all numerology programs are created with all the possible options that are explained in the books in this review. I suggest you study both volumes in their entirety and do a lot of graphing by hand. Once you have a good understanding of what you will accept in a numerology program, go online and see what is available. Stay away from software programs that give you hard copies of the reading. This is not the best way to do numerology, it does not give a complete analysis, and you will probably be wasting your money. If you’re handy with a computer, you can create your own program in an Excel spreadsheet, Visual Basic, or using C. By making your own program, you can be sure that all the elements covered in these two books can be included.

These books are not just meant to be read, they are meant to be studied. They are for the serious person who really wants to learn how numerology works. Your hard work will be rewarded and you will gain a very good understanding of how numerology was intended to be used. To gain this understanding, it will take a lot of reading. First do readings about people you are very familiar with: their personality strengths and weaknesses. This work is necessary to understand the combinations of numbers and how they create unique personalities for each individual. Over time, with practice, you’ll be able to take a look at a chart and intuitively understand the person’s personality. Your strengths and weaknesses will be presented on the chart in front of you. Then you can tell yourself: numerology really works, and very well!
