The Gift of Powerful Sanskrit Mantras for Mind Development and Life Transformation

Mantras are sounds that “form” the formless matter of the universe. Sanskrit mantras are solid formulas for transformation. Every word, syllable, or phrase is designed for transformation, higher order thinking, and protection as we co-create our reality. Mantras are a way to connect with the Creative Spirit and actively participate in the creation process as a co-creator.

In this same sense, mantras also work to transform our vibration. And those of us on the path to enlightenment know that when we change our vibration, we change our lives. Our vibration is tuned to the frequencies of unconditional love. This happens because mantras have creative power and creative power is in tune with unconditional love.

It is through the practice and chanting of mantras that we discover that words have power, because it is written, “In the beginning was the word…” And by this we know that the Source Energy is not separate from the word. Even the word mantra lends itself to a deeper meaning, a meaning related to transformation, vibration, creation, and liberation. The word mantra means “Mental device or thought instrument that frees the common mind.”

This gives us an interesting and fascinating insight into how powerful mantras are. Since a mantra is an instrument of thought and we know that if we change our thoughts, we change our reality, then it is perfectly understandable that mantras have the power of transformation. Also, a mantra that is a mental device aligns with the truth that Source Energy is not separate from the word. Mantras, which are words, sounds, and syllables, are thought tools that work to transform the mind. And by transforming the mind, we transform reality. Because it says on the Kybalion…

“ALL is Mind. The Universe is mental.”

When we consider the “liberating” power of mantras, we now understand how mantras can work for us on the path to enlightenment. It is conditioning for the mind. And with the knowledge of mental transmutation that the Kybalion teaches, we know the importance of higher order thinking.

Mantras free the mind and we are able to transcend our common thoughts. Our common thoughts are thoughts of needs such as housing, food, and clothing. Mantras work on the transcendental level that gets to the center of our soul and why we are here. And this is higher order thinking and a preparation for mental transmutation as revealed in the Kybalion.

Consequently, these powerful sounds, words and phrases free us from the “monkey mind” and open our Divine mind or Living mind to Infinite Intelligence. With this release, as we go about our day, we spontaneously align with Creative Spirit and manifest beauty, light, and love into our reality. Yes, we are freed from the limited thinking of the “monkey mind”.

As we work with Sanskrit mantras, these mantras overcome the limitations of our left brain and open up the creative flow of the right brain; therefore, we create spontaneously without “over-thinking” as some would call it or over-processing as others would call it. The “monkey mind”, which is merely low vibrational thoughts and lower consciousness, is subject to the living mind. The Living mind that creates things with thought opens to the vibration of the Mantra. For example, the Aha mantra opens the vibration that aligns with the frequency of faith and belief; restores confidence in the creation process.

Chanting mantras is a wonderful gift when we open our hearts and minds to them. Sanskrit mantras empower us spontaneously and it is spontaneous empowerment that makes us powerful co-creators on the path to enlightenment.
