For some strange reason, many people are under the impression that the New Orleans Saints will be this year’s Super Bowl champions. I think some of these people are heavily influenced by their love for the Saints and some just don’t know their football. Now I can honestly say that the Saints are playing great football right now and have a great chance of making it to the Super Bowl and possibly winning. However, there is, in my opinion, much more reason to think that they would not than there would be. Here are the top ten reasons the New Orleans Saints won’t win the Super Bowl this year.

#.1) The first and foremost reason the New Orleans Saints won’t win the Super Bowl this year is simple lack of experience. They have never won one before and will face much more experienced teams in the postseason.

#.two) The Saints don’t have a good enough running game and they won’t be successful without it.

#.3) Their weaknesses have been exposed in the last two games of the regular season. And they’ve lost to the lowest-ranked team in the NFL.

#.4) Drew Brees can’t win it alone. He’s going to be under the toughest pressure of all when they get to the postseason and I don’t think he’s ready.

#.5) They don’t have the right staff.

#.6) They don’t play well in high pressure situations.

#.7) They don’t know how to control the pace of a game. Although they do well once they get a lead, they rely too much on their offense.

#.8) They don’t know how to get back when they’re down. Once the Saints are behind in a game, it’s very difficult for them to bounce back.

#.9) The Saints trust Drew Brees too much. Which is the result of poor training.

#.10) Last but not least, if the Saints have to face the Colts in the Super Bowl, they won’t stand a chance against a more experienced team.
