Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is the best first-person shooter of the year. Electronic Arts has done it again by answering the call of the fans by creating an even more exciting campaign and online game modes. I think this is a huge step forward for first person shooters and will be an influence on future games. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has been listed as the “most anticipated game of the year” by its publisher. The game for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 has been described by analysts as the best seller of the year. But the game is good? And is it a worthy successor to the billionaire Call of Duty 4?

First of all, the graphics are absolutely stunning. I think these may be the best graphics on PlayStation 3 since Metal Gear Solid 4. In my first playthrough of the single player campaign, I was involved from start to finish. The pace of the game is very fast and exciting. It really gets the heart pumping. The entire campaign took me a little over 7 hours to complete and it was the ride of a lifetime. I have to say that the campaign was much better than last year’s game and it was pretty much flawless.

Online multiplayer was also a big highlight. I found myself enjoying trash talking while killing opponents in hype mode. Like the campaign, the game is fast paced and you have to be on your feet the entire time.
