Ideal food pyramid

I would like you to join me in challenging a false belief that I am sure that, like me, you all came to hear it was true. The information presented in the traditional USDA food pyramid, the model widely disseminated in recent decades, is archaic and reckless. Anchored by carbohydrates (with a recommendation of 6-11 servings), the pyramid also advises two to three servings of meat and dairy; in essence, it is a diagram on how to clog your system. Even the most recent revised version, which features several improvements, does not address the flaws of an animal-based diet.

The ideal food pyramid that I would like to highlight emphasizes a plant-based diet, particularly water-rich foods like fruits and vegetables. These cleansing foods should make up the majority of your diet. Here’s what the ideal food pyramid should look like:

70% live food – Make a combination of 80% vegetables (asparagus, broccoli, carrots, spinach, green peppers, celery, cucumber, lettuce, sprouts, wheatgrass, and fresh herbs) and 20% fruit (ideally low-sugar fruits that do not produce acids such as avocados, lemons, limes, tomatoes, and grapefruits). Vegetables are a great source of vitamins, minerals, phytonutrients, antioxidants, and fiber. If the body is balanced, fruit is a great live food, in moderation, to only be eaten on an empty stomach.

10% vegetable and fish protein – Make a combination of nuts, seeds, and legumes (almonds, Brazil nuts, hazelnuts, lentils, pine nuts, pumpkin seeds, and sunflower seeds) and ideally deep-sea fish like salmon, tuna, halibut, ahi, swordfish, and snapper. Proteins support tissue formation.

10% complex carbohydrates – Make a combination of ideally unstored whole grains, such as jasmine basmati rice, buckwheat, quinoa, millet, spelled, kamut, unleavened breads and needles. Cereals provide fiber, which reduces toxicity.

10% oils – Olive, linseed, Omega 3 and 6, Udo oil, avocado (do not heat cold pressed oils). Good fats neutralize acids that damage cell membranes and distribute saturated fats in the blood. Proteins support tissue formation.
