My take on the Samsung I900 Galaxy SII smartphone

Samsung i900 Galaxy SII is another amazing creation from Samsung. I found it attractive when I was looking for a phone that was something like the iPhone. And I found the Samsung i900 Galaxy SII to be worth it for all the good reasons. It is an affordable GSM Smartphone that comes with the Samsung brand guarantee and because I am loyal to the brand I always end up buying a Samsung phone. Android v 2.3.4 is the default OS used on this phone, but you can always update to the latest versions; I’ve already done that. The dual core processor makes it run exceptionally fast unlike other Android and Windows smartphones.

What makes it stand out from the iPhone and other smartphones is its ultra-thinness and small yet easy-to-use screen. The screen offers capacitive touch screen function and is 4.3 inches in size. The phone is equipped with an 8 megapixel camera along with a dual camera option which is very convenient for making Skype calls and meetings. Yes, it comes with a secondary 2-megapixel camera to serve the purpose of compensating for the absence of 3G in some way. I can also capture high-quality video at a rate of 1080p at 30fps. Overall, you get smooth operation and switch between apps thanks to the powerful GPU (Exynos).

I like the way I can quickly switch between apps and I don’t have to worry about software crashing like it does on most smartphones. The 16GB internal memory of this smartphone enhances your ability to store and manage data (up to 32GB storage/1GB RAM). For external data and data transfer, I use a memory card as Samsung i900 Galaxy SII comes with a card slot that supports memory cards up to 32GB. Isn’t it just amazing? I can use default ringtones or copy music files and ringtones through a card to my phone.

And it’s really a nice relaxing feeling to not go through the tedious iTunes syncing for the slightest data transfer. My Samsung i900 Galaxy SII works as my PC and I have the freedom to connect to the internet via GPRS, EDGE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and USB. Couldn’t ask for more convenience. It supports all major media formats and the document editor allows me to open and manage Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PDF files as well.

Samsung i900 Galaxy SII comes with navigation tools like Google Maps and a variety of Google apps including Google Search, Google Talk, Picasa and Gmail. To keep this all going and to keep me connected on the go, my phone offers ample talk time and a powerful battery backup. The standard talk time it allows me is 18 hours and 20 minutes and this is just amazing. Many find this phone too expensive or expensive, but for me it’s worth it! I mean it serves as my PC and keeps me connected with my office work on the go. So I wouldn’t mind paying the price I paid for this smartphone.
