This makes the owner think that the jump caused quick pain and that the dog is fine. not so Small breeds of dogs with a dislocated kneecap should be seen by a vet right away. Treatment is vital.

If not detected within 48 hours, the dog can be left permanently blind in the affected eye. When treatment is not given right away, the lens or sometimes even the entire eye may need to be removed.

The cause of most cases is unknown, however, trauma to the dog’s eye is also a cause. Therefore, one must be very careful to protect their dog’s eyes. How? Secure the house as you would if you were bringing home a baby. The corners of the coffee or side tables should have protectors.
