Do you need to lose weight? – Don’t be fooled by “diet” sodas

Many people choose to drink diet soda because they feel that it is a healthier alternative to traditional sodas that are full of sugar. Some diet soda drinkers are attracted to the idea that diet soda “has no calories” and think that by restricting their calorie intake, they can lose weight or at least prevent future weight gain.

The big problem with these diet sodas and other soft drinks is that they are toxic. Yes, these soda companies have removed sugar from their drinks, but they replaced the sugar with something even worse. Artificial sweeteners.

Artificial sweeteners are found in most diet sodas, as well as in packages of Equal, Splenda, and Sweet-N-Low. The most common artificial sweeteners are aspartame, sucralose, and saccharin. While these artificial sweeteners may be calorie-free, they are full of acid and extremely toxic to your body.

These artificial sweeteners are chemicals that your body cannot metabolize. That’s why manufacturers of artificial sweeteners claim that the sweeteners have zero calories. They think that if your body can’t break down and use the artificial sweetener, then it must have no calories.

What they don’t mention is that your body is absorbing a large portion of the chemical sweeteners. These toxic sweeteners are very acidic, even more so than sugar. To save your life and prevent these toxins from killing you, your body will bind these sweeteners with your fat cells to neutralize the acids.

This is one of the reasons drinking diet soda can make you gain weight, not lose it. When these toxins are absorbed by your body, they must bind to fat cells, otherwise they will cause serious damage or even death. The more sweeteners you eat, the more fat cells your body will have to produce to keep you alive.

Is it any wonder why so many people drink diet soda and still struggle to lose weight?

So think twice before you drink that next diet soda. If you’re someone who drinks a lot of diet soda on a daily basis, make a plan to gradually decrease the amount you drink. Start replacing “alkaline” drinks with acidic cocktails that beverage companies disguise as healthy.

Decrease the amount of acid you eat, increase the amount of alkaline foods and drinks, and then watch the fat melt away.
