Ho’oponopono Revealed

What is Ho’oponopono?

Ho’oponopono is an extremely simple, transformative and healing process that people use to solve problems in their lives. The technique is used to clear, heal and open the mind, freeing the practitioner from past negative memories and unconscious programs. I like to call him “Karma Crusher”. It is based on the principle that each of us carries with us many lifetimes of karmic debt and other negative emotional baggage in the form of conscious but mostly unconscious memories. It is these memories that the subconscious mind draws upon when making its decisions and judgments, and it is these memories that create the reality and circumstances that we see around us in our lives.

By employing the Ho’oponopono technique to call on a higher spiritual power, people can solve these problems. Freeing them to live the rest of their time on earth empowered, living lives guided by inspiration, not fear and guilt.

The request is made in the form of a mantra and is a personal request for forgiveness to God – The Source, the Universal Mind, the Void, the Divine Intelligence, the Universal Consciousness (whatever you want to call it), for reconciliation and forgiveness for past actions and events. By acknowledging and accepting responsibility for our past actions, we can free ourselves from their effects. The cleaner you are, the more you free yourself to follow your true path and reach your full potential.

The ultimate goal of the Ho’oponopono practitioner is to erase (cleansed) your subconscious mind to come up with a State of Zero.

In this state, which Dr. Hew Len calls “Zero Limits”– we are limitless, free of memory, free of resistance and open to inspirational thoughts flowing from Divine Intelligence through our superconscious minds. Our goal is to deny our past actions through repentance and remove any conscious or subconscious resistance (blocks) we may have to new ideas, possibilities, and paths.

“What you resist persists.”-Carl Jung, (1875-1961) [1]

The practice of Ho’oponopono not only cleanses and clears our minds and improves our receptivity, but also gives us a direct connection to the greatest source of power, wisdom and knowledge imaginable: The Universal Mind. It is from this power that all of mankind’s greatest achievements and ideas have sprung.

“The Universal Mind contains all knowledge. It is the ultimate potential of all things. For it, all things are possible” – Ernst Holmes, (1887-1960) [2]

Ho’oponopono is No has religion. It is an intensely personal spiritual practice that people can use to communicate with themselves and with the source of their own existence. It has roots in animistic belief systems, believing that all living and material things are connected, that the Earth (Gaya) itself is a living spiritual conscious being.

In Ho’oponopono there are no priests or gurus, no teachers or leaders, and no paths to follow. It doesn’t need anyone but yourself, it knows no limits and it can be practiced by anyone, anytime, anywhere…
